Diversity plays a large role here at ASU. There are people here from all over the world. Each person is so different, especially from different countries or religions or cultures. Since ASU is made up of so many different people it makes life so much easier to understand that people are different and not to judge them. ASU provides many classes that you can take to give you a better understanding of different cultures and different religions and it would be a great idea to take some of them.
It makes you a better person to be around other people and to learn different things from them.

Global Engagement
Being globally engaged within this world is most of the most important aspects needed to be successful in business.
It is so important for people to know what is going on in this world. Can you imagine going to another country and not knowing one thing about them, or even speak a lick of their language. you would feel completely out of place, and if it was me I would feel stupid.
You also need to know about other people because the US is getting more and more diverse. There are so many people that have different beliefs, culture and ideas of this world. A great idea would be to get to know these people and understand what they are going through and where they came from. It will make you a better person and more educated.
Another reason to be globally engaged is because there are so many problems that other countries face that our country has no idea bout. We should learn about these problems and do something to help them out. For example, the water crisis. The US wasts so much water and we have it so easy how to get water. And very few people have any idea how hard it is for other people to even reach water. If more people were globally aware we could be doing some many things that could be helping out other countries.
Even though there are many things that we could be doing to be helping out other countries we need to never forget about our own country and still help us out here.

Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is so important to the world now a days. With out entrepreneurs the world would not progress any further then where we are today.
Entrepreneurs are risk-takers and they do the things that most people would not ever think about doing. These people have to be so smart and know exactly what they what to do with their company or program.
I think that I would make a great entrepreneur because I am always trying to solve problems in a more efficient way and I'm always looking for challenges. I have never liked when something is just handed to me. I like to work for things so I feel that I myself earned it and that I can improve things as I go.
Entrepreneurs have to be able to think differently and uniquely so they are able to come up with things that no one else has. They also have to be proactive and innovative. It is very important to think ahead and be prepared for the unknown or the unthinkable. Those are true entrepreneurs that can be ready for those kinds of situations.

Sustainability is one of the most important thing that you can do for the earth. There are so many problems in this world that so many people could be helping out with. Like pollution, global warming, or recycling.
We are running out of natural resources. People need to start recycling to help out. There is so much trash everywhere and it is getting pretty bad. It is not hard at all the recycle and it's something simple and easy that can change the world. And so many people are so wasteful, maybe they should start thinking about ways to cut back and help this world out.
There are so many big trucks and semi's that put out so much pollution into our air. Ways that you could help could be to car pool more often, or buy a eco-friendly car. All these things are causing global warming and no one knows how the world is going to be 50 years from now.
What we do now effects everybody down the road. Why should they live a life of pollution and trash just because we were to lazy now.

Success at ASU
There are many things that students can do at ASU to be successful. The most important things are managing time, studying, going to class, and taking time for yourself.
One thing that has always helped me was to manage my time. I have a planner that I write down everything in. I have every day planned all to the hour basically so I know what I need to get done and when I need to get it don't by. Most people aren't like that, but you don't have to have a planner to be organized. You just have to know when your projects due and allow time to do them and still have time to work and have fun. It you don't manage in time to just have to yourself you will get to overwhelmed and frustrated.
You have to study!! No matter what you think college is way different then high school. You can't just expect to understand everything and know it all just from the lecture. You need to go home and study and go over all of your notes. The exams are a lot harder then you think. You need to study to make sure you know everything about the subject and not miss any minor details.
Most professors post their notes on blackboard, but that doesn't mean you don't have to go to class. There are a lot of things that professors say in class that are important, and that will be on the exams. Some professors have you watch movies, and give daily quizzes which are easy points and are meant to hurt the people that don't go to class.

It is never fair for anyone if anybody cheats on anything, not just relating to school. If you cheat you are only cheating yourself, because then you don't learn anything. It is important for you to do the right thing because if you start cheating on little things like school it will only lead to bigger things. Like cheating on work. Oh but no one will ever know! That is a horrible thing to say. Even if you are the only one who knows wouldn't it kill you to know that you are wasting your money paying for school and you aren't actually learning anything. It would kill me just to know that I am lying not only to myself but to everyone.
